Meet the Team

I opened the Playhouse in 1987 and have a BA (Hons) in Early Childcare Studies.

I enjoy gardening, meeting new people and I love seafood.

Since working at The Playhouse, I have worked with a mixture of age groups. I have my level 3 early years educator qualification and have completed my level 5 management qualification. I feel it is important to provide an enabling environment for practitioners working with parents to support each child's learning and development requirements.

I am the head of pre-school, with a level 3 qualification in early years and level 2 in children and young people work force.

I enjoy messy play and watching the children make progress in their development.

I am a qualified level 3 early year educator. My role is to support young children during their early years of education.

 I like travelling and reading books.

I am a qualified NVQ Level 3 practitioner. I enjoy messy play with the children. 

I like building Lego in my free time.

I am a Modern Apprentice working towards my NVQ level 3 in Early Years.

 I have a big passion for baking.

I have 30yrs of early years experiences ranging from primary school teaching to working with SEND children. I am currently working in the baby room and enjoy lots of sensory activities and singing nursery rhymes.

 Outside of work I love to read and take my dog on long walks. 

I am a level 2 qualified in early years as well as being the nursery cook.

The children love my roast chicken dinners.
